Insect nets

Insect nets that can be installed on doors and windows are easy to use, convenient and provide effective protection from insects. Insect nets can be installed on either the inside or the outside, depending on which way the window opens. The net material is a light grey PVC coated glass fibre mesh that is almost invisible in front of the window and does not obstruct the view. The net allows the air to move freely but stops insects and debris from coming indoors. The net is resistant to water, corrosion, oil and grease, but in winter it can be damaged by birds when picking out seeds and other crumbs that accumulate in the net and will thus poke holes in it. Therefore, we advise you to remove the nets in the winter. The frame of the insect net is made of durable painted aluminium that is resistant to moisture and sunlight.

Insect net door

A self-closing door with spring hinges and magnetic closure is recommended for places where automatic closing of the door is essential. There are additional wider profiles in the middle and at the bottom for pushing the door open. To ensure effective protection against insects, the profiles are fitted with a sealing brush. The door can be installed both inside and outside the room, in the doorway or above it. For pet owners, we offer a more durable mesh material that pets cannot get through; the alternatives are a grey aluminium mesh or steel mesh, or a black PVC mesh that is more affordable. If necessary, a pet door can be installed in the insect net door. Our selection also includes a fine-mesh net that is recommended for allergy sufferers for protection against pollen.

Insect net roller blind door

The insect net roller blind door is fitted inside a cassette and is mounted vertically on a suitable edge of the doorway, either inside or outside. The door has two possible positions: fully open or inside the cassette. The roller blind doors are spring operated, moving in the installed top and bottom tracks from left to right and vice versa. Insect net roller blind doors do not interfere with the use of the balcony door, as they can easily be moved to the side.
